1967 Pontiac Coupe for sale!
This is a fully restored, matching numbers car with a completely rebuilt motor and transmission. I have owned this car for about 3 years and unfortunately have to sell it. I have put significant time and money into the car and it will definitely make any GTO fan a very happy owner. Visit any of the links above to learn more details on the car and drivetrain. I am asking $24,000 for this car and have very little flexability on price - this car will easily fetch this number in the spring or on eBay. (I will most likely raise the asking price in the spring to $25k)
About the current owner
I have been a car buff all my life - I can remember being sad as a very little boy when I lost my green buick roadmaster matchbox car in the seat of my mom's station wagon. She sold the car and I never got my roadmaster back! When I was a freshman in highschool, the neighbor who was a senior had a blue '67 Goat with a 4-speed and 400 engine. You could hear that car for about a mile away and I have never stopped loving the 64-67 GTO's! Always dreaming of owning one, I was finally able to afford one in 2004 and purchased this partially restored coupe with matching numbers.
Unfortunately, I have to sell the car for financial reasons and hope that I can find it a good owner. I can vouch for every bit of the cars drivetrain - I personally uninstalled the engine and transmission and had them both professionally rebuilt from top to bottom in November of 2006, before carefully re-installing both. The engine only has about 20 miles on it and still needs to complete its breakin.
This car will make someone money - it has been gaining value at about $750-$1000 per year since I bought it. Ask any GTO or muscle car buff about what car values are doing today and you will see that this is a very fair price and great investment!
